Dr. Whiteneck

For over 30 years, Dr. Susan E. Whiteneck has been providing patients with exceptional comprehensive & cosmetic dental care. A native of western Oklahoma, Dr. Whiteneck obtained her Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Oklahoma State University & her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Dr. Whiteneck thrives on staying on the cutting edge of dentistry. She has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education with a special focus on comprehensive oral rehabilitation as well as the latest dental techniques & technology.

Dr. Whiteneck has achieved the ranking of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, is a member of the Spear Faculty Club & the Pierre Fauchard Society, as well as maintaining an active membership in the following professional organizations:

Dr. Whiteneck has a passion for mission work & has provided badly needed dental care in Honduras, Bolivia & Guatemala. Locally, she volunteers regularly at the Good Shepherd Mission & has worked at all the Oklahoma Missions of Mercy & is a big supporter & past board member of Food & Shelter, Inc.

In her spare time, Dr. Whiteneck loves following the Sooners, Thunder Basketball, plays & musical theatre, going to movies, working out, cooking, gardening & reading.

Dr. Spurlock

Dr. Sara K. Spurlock has been a resident of Norman for over twelve years, and providing dental care for over 6.

Dr. Spurlock grew up in Northeastern Oklahoma and received her bachelors of science in Zoology from the University of Oklahoma and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University Of Oklahoma College Of Dentistry where she received awards from both the pediatric department and the dental laboratory for technical skill and knowledge of laboratory technology.

Dr. Spurlock is committed to life-long education and is dedicated to going above and beyond what is required for her continuing education. She attends courses at Spear Education as well as various other local courses each year ranging from endodontics to dental technology.

She is working towards achieving fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and is an active member of the following professional organizations:

Dr. Spurlock is passionate about her profession and mentors dental students as well as students interested in the dental field. She also volunteers each year at the mission of mercy helping to provide care for thousands of Oklahomans as well as local events with the Moore-Norman Technology Center. Dr. Spurlock is also a member of the Junior League of Norman where she volunteers her time doing projects with many other local non-profit agencies.

Dr. Spurlock is one of eight children and enjoys spending time with her family hosting holiday gatherings and summer cookouts. She enjoys reading, cooking, going to concerts, taking road trips and cheering on the Thunder and Sooners. Dr. Spurlock and her husband, Jay, have three children, Anna, Will and John Henry.

Dr. Jenkins

Dr. Jennifer M. Jenkins is a native Oklahoman. She grew up in Edmond, and graduated from Edmond North High School in 2000. Dr. Jenkins attended the University of Oklahoma, and graduated Summa cum Laude in 2004, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. In the summer of 2004, Dr. Jenkins started dental school at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. She graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2008.

Dr. Jenkins is very motivated to stay current with the latest dental technology and techniques. She attends continuing education courses regularly, especially with Spear Education. She is also involved in a local Spear Study Club with other dentists and dental specialists from the OKC Metro.

She is working towards achieving fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, and is an active member of the following professional organizations:

Dr. Jenkins is involved in Oklahoma dentistry through service with Mission of Mercy and the Oklahoma Association of Women Dentists.

Dr. Jenkins and her husband, Justin, are raising two young sons and a cat named Oreo. In their free time, they enjoy going to the OKC Zoo, Science Museum Oklahoma, Sooner football, and dining out at the great places around OKC.
